Active Professional Valuers

CEP Certified Members of IOV

In accordance with Bye-Law No. 58 of the Bye-Laws of Institution of Valuers, a list is maintained containing the names of life corporate members who are constantly updating their knowledge base by actively participating in various Continuing Education Programmes (CEP) — seminars, conferences, workshops, training programmes, capacity building programmes, etc.

Objectives

Simplify the empanelment process for Valuers, reducing administrative burdens.

Enhance the credibility and visibility of IOV Valuers in the professional and financial sectors.

Strengthen the professional profiling and opportunities for active valuers.

Eligibility Criteria

A person should be a Life Corporate Member of IOV and hold good standing/reputation with no complaints or disciplinary actions pending.

In addition, the member must meet at least one of:

  • Attended GVS or IVC within the last two years
  • Completed the 50-hour Mandatory Education Program
  • Earned 16 CEP points as a Registered Valuer

Exclusive Benefits

Certificate of Membership for Bank / Financial Sector empanelment as required in a financial year.

Priority for working opportunities.

Display of name on IOV Website in APV List.

Continuing Education Areas

A minimum of 16 CEP points is required per financial year for APV renewal.

Renewal of Certification

APV shall be renewed every financial year w.e.f. 1st April in accordance with the APV Policy on:

  • Earning a minimum of 16 CEP points in a financial year
  • Payment of Annual Subscription of APV for the financial year
  • Adherence to the Best professional practices and Code of Conduct
  • Complying with Monitoring, Grievance redressal and Disciplinary proceedings, if any
  • Clearance of all dues towards IOV or IOVRVF
